Our client, a Senior Manager at Facebook, owned multiple properties, but was paying very high interest rates through a private bank. He believed that private banking was his only option because of two common misconceptions:
- High-street lenders wouldn’t consider his RSU income.
- It was difficult to secure competitive mortgage rates over £1 million on the high street.
These beliefs meant he was missing out on better, more affordable mortgage deals.
Results
By working with us, the client was able to present his full income picture, including his bonus income and RSUs, to several high street lenders.
We successfully refinanced all three of his properties, securing rates that were over 2% lower than his previous private bank deals.
This significant reduction in interest rates resulted in much lower monthly payments, freeing up cash flow and improving his overall financial flexibility.
